We manufacture our knife jaw inserts - and grinder jaw inserts - from precision machined, multi-stage hardened tool steel that combines properties of maximum toughness and strength. The initial thru-hardening process minimizes the possibility of material distortion, cracking and/or breakage while the secondary surface hardening process increases wear resistance.
